RFID transponders

The most frequently used device for waste bin identification is RFID transponder. There are many kinds of transponders in terms of dimensions, shape and operating frequency in accordance with used technologie and waste containter type: LF, HF or UHF. Those transponders are the key part of the identification system which is capable of monitoring the waste bins, frequency and purpose of their collection. Combined with dedidacted hardware and software it enables to control, supervise, summarize and appraise the waste collection.

This transponder is used to identify the waste bins in Ultra High Frequency technologie – so called UHF. Reading range of this transponder is calculated in few meters. It is mostly applied to container or bell-type bin identification. Due to hermetic and plastic housing it is resistant to weather conditions and chemical impact.
